Gymea Rovers – Easter Visit to IRT Thomas Holt
We have been invited back to IRT Thomas Holt to run an Easter-themed activity with residents, continuing the connection we built through last year’s visit, trivia night and Christmas cards. This is a great opportunity to engage in meaningful community service while creating a relaxed and social environment for residents.

Time: Arrive 7:00–7:15pm for sign-in and setup
Activity starts: 7:30pm

Activity Overview
We will be running a simple Easter craft session, centred around decorating and creating Easter-themed items (e.g. painted eggs or similar crafts). The focus is on:

Social interaction and conversation

Supporting residents to participate at their own pace

Creating a calm, inclusive and enjoyable environment
IRT staff will also be present to assist, including support for residents who may need additional help.
What to Expect

Working in small groups with residents

Assisting with craft activities (handing out materials, helping decorate, chatting)

Opportunity to build ongoing community relationships

Be mindful of accessibility needs (limited hand mobility, fatigue, etc.)
